George Butler and London Art Week at Illustrationcupboard Gallery.
Once again we are delighted to host London Art Week with Crispian Riley-Smith Old Master Drawings. This annual London-based international festival celebrates all things Fine Art with a focus on Master Drawings.
We will be showing a selection of new artwork, watercolours and drawings by the superb young talented reportageartist George Butler - Winner of the V&A Illustration Award, 2012.
Artist event: George Butler will be giving an evening lecture and slide talk on WEDNESDAY 6 JULY (tbc). This is a ticketed event and places are limited to 20. Please contact the gallery to obtain a reservation.
George will be speaking about his recent trips to Afghanistan and central Asia. EARLY BOOKING ADVISED AS THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT.

We are delighted to be taking out collection of classic modern and contemporary illustration art to Korea, and taking part in this leading international art fair in this outstanding architectural icon. We will be focusing on the work of Anthony Browne, who not only world-famous for his books is regarded in the highest esteem in Korea especially. Our friends and visitors are warmly invited to attend, and free tickets to this art fair can be obtained by contacting the gallery direly.

21 September - 15 October
celebrating 40 Years of Aardman Animations

a highlight for 2016. Aardman Animations is 40 years old and to celebrate we once again present a third solo exhibition for this world-famous and much-loved Bristol-based film studio. With contributions by many of their famous animators including three-time Oscar winner Nick Park this extensive exhibition will present an array of original artwork from the studios for avid fans and collectors.

The 4th Annual Political Cartoon Exhibition

Our annual presentation of all this witty, satirical and humorous in the political world. This year we highlight the superb draughtsmanship and contribution made to The Financial Times by Ingram Pinn, work by other cartoonists will also be on show.

The Art of Edward Ardizzone - An Outstanding Private Collection.

We are delighted to present a private collection of this quintessential British illustrator. Built up over 30 years this collections of drawings, watercolours and prints has been loving collected by a major Ardizzone savant and enthused and we are delighted to present this unrivalled private collection.

21st Annual Winter Exhibition 23 November - 31 January

The Annual Winter Show is regarded as one of the biggest collections of modern and contemporary illustration art in the world. With hundreds of illustrations on show and for sale from many of the leading illustration and animation artists from around the world this extravaganza will appeal to young and old. Prices start at £50 for original artwork, with special editions books and artist proof editions also available for purchase. Ideal for Christmas shopping.
