Paul Gallico’s powerful tale set on the desolate Essex marshes in the years running up to the evacuation at Dunkirk in 1940 is a modern classic, and none better to illustrate this then one of today’s leading illustrators - Angela Barrett.
The delicate, finely drawn illustrations complement this heart-rending tale to perfection and as always Angela Barrett's work shows mastery of technique, atmosphere and emotion. We are delighted to have the opportunity to present this exhibition which will coincide with the BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of The Snow Goose to be aired at the end of May.
For all collectors and enthusiasts of Angela’s work this is a rare opportunity to acquire original published artwork, released for the very first time. Further work by Angela Barrett will also be on view and available for purchase along with signed and first edition books.
