The Emperor's New Clothes' - Hans Christian Andersen, retold by Naomi Lewis, illustrated by Angela Barrett.
"25 April - 25 May 2018.

'' The translation is fine and sure, and Barrett's artwork is splendid, full of lively vignettes and early-20th-century details, complete with a company of wise dogs and the impeccably expressive faces of bystanders.' (Kirkus Review)

The Emperor's New Clothes is one of those books illustrated by the wonderful Angela Barrett that we never believed she would release. The classic Hans Anderson Tale is one of the most famous of all and its relevance seems to fit every age without fail. It has long been one of Angela's personal favourite books, and one she has been loathe to break-up however we are delighted, indeed honoured, to assist her in offering this to collectors and enthusiasts to acquire.
